Our client is a fragmented organization consisting of many different layers between a centralized service center and decentralized local offices. The organization classified himself as immature around data. Reporting is done in a siloed, ad hoc and anarchic way by all layers of the organization. Roles and responsibilities are lacking and parallel data tracks are existing. Furthermore, Our client must comply with global initiatives after migrating from a legacy system to Google Cloud.
Keyrus collaborated across the centralized service center with both Business and IT to perform a Maturity Assessment. The current state and future expectations of all stakeholders were documented. Recommendations were made in a pragmatic way with attention for re-use of existing departments and bodies at our client. Keyrus further translated these recommendations in a short- and medium-term implementation roadmap to guide the way for our client towards the desired level of data maturity.
Our client now has a vision on how to kick-off their Data Governance and Management Journey. By having a pragmatic approach while re-using the existing they can put their first steps into formalizing roles and responsibilities and creating a standardized common language across the organization. This approach and roadmap will enable our client to leverage their data and grow into a data driven company.
