Press release

Keyrus commits itself to the Children’s Wish Foundation

Montreal, September 21th, 2018: For several years, in the context of its Commitment & Diversity program, Keyrus has committed itself to causes such as integrating diversity in the workplace and in schools, or even the fight against cancer. In a continuation of this social involvement, Keyrus is proud to announce its partnership with the Children’s Wish Foundation, the mission of which is to make the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses come true. The Canadian team will aid the association with two key aspects:

  • Assisting Children’s Wish in optimizing its data management, on the one hand,

  • Raising the funds required to fulfil a child’s wish, on the other hand.

“The only sources of funding for the Children’s Wish Foundation are fundraising activities, donations from corporate sponsors or from foundations, and donations from the greater public. Thanks to the generosity and trust of partners such as Keyrus, we are able to continue our mission and never turn down a single admissible child. This initiative will have a beneficial and durable impact on the lives of sick children and their families. They will experience the magic of dreams, and that experience will have positive benefits for hundreds of people who gravitate around those families.” adds Juli Meilleur, Executive director - Quebec, of the Children’s Wish Foundation.

“After having volunteered for the 2018 Heroes Challenge, the team was highly motivated and wanted to make a durable commitment to the Foundation. These actions, taken simultaneously on both the data management level and the fundraising level, allowed us to provide our know-how as a technological organisation, but also demonstrated our drive to perform tangible actions that benefit our society. Pursuing values means a lot to us, and we are eager to see the first results!” declares Elodie Palluet, Director of Marketing & Culture at Keyrus Canada.

Accompanying the foundation in its digital transformation

Though data analysis for the Children’s Wish Foundation is decisive both in terms of personalised family support and more effective donor identification, Keyrus is aware that the exercise may occasionally seem complicated and laborious. Also, in its desire to commit durably to the Foundation, a team of consultants diagnosed the current data management systems in place and aid in implementing tangible solutions to assist Children’s Wish in its mission.

Raising the $10,000 required to fulfil the wish of a sick child

In parallel with this, Keyrus also wishes to take part in the organisation’s mission by financing a child’s wish. In order to do this, the company has committed to raising the required $10,000. An internal committee organise various activities such as food sales, a karaoke stage, or even a “draw your dream” workshop. All employees, partners, and clients who wish to support this initiative are welcome.

As of now, we will also be counting on your support to help us attain our objective! Visit the Keyrus team’s page!
