Background

Jin Jiang International (Holdings) Co., Ltd. is one of the leading travel and hospitality conglomerates in China, with 2 billion Yuan of registered capital. Shanghai Jin Jiang Liancai Supply Chain Co., Ltd. ("Jin Jiang Global Purchasing Platform" or "GPP"), including its subsidiaries, was established under a joint investment by Jin Jiang Investment, Jin Jiang Hotel, and Red Star Macalline, with 300 million Yuan of registered capital, and is one of the key innovative platforms of Jin Jiang International Group.

Challenge

Achieving seamless systems integration between the front office, middle office and back office with Jin Jiang Hotel's numerous suppliers, variety of products and complex order management system. Enable role access management with multiple branches and complex staff structure. In addition to empowering the hotels in the internal market, the centralised procurement platform needs to serve hotels in the external market and give them access to procurement.

Approach

Build a design management platform based on the SAP Commerce Cloud to provide detailed construction drawing services and digital designs. Enable 3D design effect presentations and clear, efficient, and convenient cost measurements with VR design tools and procurement calculators to allow customers to get deeply involved in the design process and seek personalised solutions. Implement an effective management system for the structures of the main products and suppliers' products on the platform. Enable suppliers to release products and maintain basic data independently, such as information, images, quotes, inventory, and others. Improve the product audit system, the creation process of suppliers' products, and the quotation audit management system. Enable suppliers to adopt the order receiving mode to implement the management of delivery and shipments via order fulfilment and management of reverse logistics throughout the whole order process.
