Background

With more than 4 Million outpatients visit in a year, +6,000 internal staff and +3000 beds. Major hospital in China concentrate a lot of visitors every day. the visitors satisfaction and their experience become a key topic for hospital management.

Challenge

With the increasing number of patients, the hospital has increased the number of buildings and number blocks significantly. It becomes more and more difficult for the patients to navigate and find the doctors and blocks within the hospital. it increase significantly the waiting and queuing time.

Approach

Through the laying of Bluetooth beacon hardware, a full coverage of the Bluetooth signal in the hospital area have been achieved. The intelligent guidance system uses WeChat mini-programs as a carrier to achieve accurate self-positioning by receiving Bluetooth broadcasts in the network and combining with the three-dimensional digital map in the hospital.
