In collaboration with Tamam Saudi Arabia, Keyrus MEA spearheaded a transformative mobile application redesign project. Our mission was to create a refreshed UX/UI for Tamam's mobile app, aligning with best-in-class standards and staying up to date with the evolving design trends in mobile banking applications.
Tamam, established in 2019 under the supervision of the Saudi Central Bank, specializes in providing consumer micro-lending services within the kingdom. With a commitment to offering instant financing solutions without the complexities of traditional banking, Tamam stands as a beacon of innovation in the Fintech sector.
Tamam offers the fastest response financing services in Saudi Arabia, providing individuals with the opportunity to receive Shari’a-compliant loans without physically visiting a bank location. The platform’s end-to-end application and award process takes just minutes from the time of downloading the app to the loan amount being paid out.
Our collaboration with Tamam commenced with meticulous research and analysis of the existing system, encompassing technical scoping and delineation of user journeys. Through collaborative workshops with the Tamam team, we aligned objectives and established a unified vision.
Embracing a human-centric methodology, we prioritized Inspiration, Ideation, and Implementation over rigid, process-driven approaches. Our focus on Aesthetic & Minimalist Design principles aimed to deliver an intuitive and visually captivating user experience.
Our deliverables spanned comprehensive benchmarking for functional and design evaluations, user feedback collection via UX research, development of new tree structures and personas, wireframe creation, and framing and validation workshops to refine concepts. Additionally, we crafted new UI models aligned with contemporary design trends and devised high-fidelity prototypes to simulate the user experience. Rigorous integration monitoring and testing were conducted to ensure seamless implementation and validate functionality and user experience.
With this redesign, we've not only addressed previous issues but also elevated the overall client experience. As a result, we've seen a notable increase in both the average visitor session duration and click-through rates. Users now enjoy smoother navigation, more informative screens, and visually appealing design elements, which have collectively contributed to improved efficiency and usability.
