Background

Our client is a leading market expansion services provider helping companies to grow their business in existing markets and expand into new ones for 150 years, especially in Asia. With services along the entire value chain – global sourcing, sales, marketing, distribution, logistics and after-sales services – our client needs to digitalize business solutions in order to keep competitive advantage.

Challenge

Addressing various countries and industries, from healthcare to performance materials and technologies, with different needs and requirements, from catalog management to B2B and B2C ecommerce, the solution has to be scalable, highly flexible and configurable, with fast deployments.

Approach

After a scoping phase to structure the project and define the requirements, the project has been divided in several phases: B2C e-commerce project, Product Information Management, B2B e-commerce project. This process has been deployed for the 3 different Business Units, leveraging on foundations established for all the businesses.
