Since summer 2022, the cost-of-living crisis has dominated the domestic headlines in the UK and around the developed world. What’s more, the situation looks to be getting steadily worse, with inflation rising, energy costs spiralling and interest rates following suit.
It’s a tough time for everyone, after what has been a very challenging few years. With Keyrus employees also feeling the pinch, we decided to lend a helping hand to get them through the worst of it.
Back in October 2022, we launched an innovative initiative to support our employees – everyone from consultants and support to sales and admin – with a little extra cash for their efforts. The incentive itself is based on assessing three elements: salary, a bonus, and cash vouchers to soften the blow of increased living expenses.
Salary increases and bonuses are always warmly welcomed, of course, but we know the taxman also helps himself to a large chunk. That’s what makes the cash vouchers even more popular with people. They enjoy 100% of the monetary benefit, with the flexibility to spend it on a wide range of essential items. Everything from the weekly food shop to Amazon purchases, petrol and energy payments.
Ultimately, the scheme makes it a little easier for people to get through each month – and it’s already made a big difference to their lives.
