Implementing Salesforce at The Gathering Spot

Background

The client, The Gathering Spot (TGS), is a private network that provides minority professionals with access to curated experiences, exclusive content, concierge services, and access to TGS flagship clubs that include workspaces, meeting rooms, event space, a restaurant, and a bar. TGS is a part of Greenwood Inc, which also includes music and tech festival/conference A3C, and Valence, their professional development/recruiting platform which has become the largest platform of its kind serving over 1.2M+ minorities across its ecosystem.

Challenge

TGS, a company that recently went through an acquisition with Greenwood, a multi-generational platform of brands with the mission of coming together to advance people of color through the connectivity of careers, culture, community, and capital, wanted to improve their systems for tracking corporate clients and talent opportunities. They recognized that the current systems in place were not providing the visibility and organization they needed to effectively manage this data.

Approach

In order to address this issue, TGS decided to implement a new Salesforce instance. Salesforce is a widely used CRM platform that can effectively manage and organize large amounts of data, making it easy for organizations to access the information they need. By implementing a new Salesforce instance, TGS hoped to create better visibility into how their corporate clients and talent opportunities were being tracked. This was an important step for TGS as it helped to streamline the process of tracking, managing, and growing the business.
