Business domains connected through a unified OneLake foundation
Stage Dev-Test-Prod CI/CD pipeline for all analytics workloads
Enterprise data sources migrated into Fabric ingestion frameworks
Our client is a large professional services organization operating across multiple internal business units including HR, Marketing, Knowledge Management, and Finance. Each team historically maintained its own data pipelines, databases, and reporting structures, creating silos and operational inconsistencies. The organization aimed to modernize its data operations, improve governance, and enable cross-domain analytics through Microsoft Fabric.
The client sought to unify its data landscape and address long-standing fragmentation. Different teams managed their own ingestion processes, security models, and deployment workflows, resulting in complexity and operational risks. They needed a scalable cloud platform capable of handling diverse sources (APIs, Dataverse, SQL), enforcing governance across all environments, and supporting a consistent CI/CD methodology for accelerated delivery.
Keyrus partnered with the organization to design and deploy a tenant-wide Fabric architecture supported by standardized data engineering practices: Implemented a medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) across multiple workspaces and lakehouses, aligned with each business domain. Collaborated with the client’s data engineering team to migrate and rebuild ingestion patterns for API-based systems, Dataverse CRM, and SQL knowledge repositories. Established environment-specific Dev–Test–Prod workspaces with variable libraries to control configuration and security per environment. Enabled GitHub-integrated CI/CD, including branching standards, Git-connected workspaces, PR reviews, and automated deployment pipelines. Delivered a centralized monitoring layer providing full visibility on daily and recurring pipeline execution, with alerting and operational documentation.
'This initiative delivered a scalable and future-ready data platform for the organization. Consolidated ingestion frameworks and a unified medallion structure improved data quality and consistency across departments. Automated CI/CD and deployment governance reduced operational risk and accelerated time-to-production. Enhanced monitoring provided complete visibility into daily processing, empowering data teams to confidently maintain and evolve their Fabric ecosystem.
