We, at Keyrus, believe in the power of choices. We believe in enabling choices and providing opportunities. We believe that opportunities make or break individuals and communities. Sadly, not all of us have always had equal opportunities. We want to play a role in leveling the playing field for those whose start in life may not have been as fortunate as others, because we believe that young people are the future.
We are challenging ourselves to symbolically ‘hug the continent of Africa’ by collectively covering the distance of 30 500km through any sporting activities to raise R45.000 (EUR 2.300) which will make a significant difference in assisting the Amathuba Foundation in providing young scholars with opportunities they wouldn’t otherwise get.
The Amathuba Foundation facilitates high school opportunities for disadvantaged learners at schools in South Africa. They help learners to reach their dreams, through customized funding and personal mentorship. They do this in partnership with their loyal patrons, the Amathuba Mentors, the partner schools, and the learners’ parents/guardians.
The Rhino Ride is a mountain bike ride through the magnificent Manyoni Private Game Reserve. 8 representatives of our Keyrus team took part in this amazing ride in August 2022, raising funds and awareness of the Zululand Conservation Trust which supports African wildlife conservation programs.
We challenged ourselves to collectively cover the distance between Durban and Paris (13.281km ) through sporting activities ranging from running, walking, cycling, and swimming and raised R45.000 (EUR 2.750) which will make a significant difference in assisting the Amathuba Foundation in providing young scholars, and in particular young boy Siya, with opportunities they wouldn’t otherwise get.
