We, at Keyrus, believe in the power of choices. We believe in enabling choices and providing opportunities. We believe that opportunities make or break individuals and communities. Sadly, not all of us have always had equal opportunities. We want to play a role in leveling the playing field for those whose start in life may not have been as fortunate as others, because we believe that young people are the future.
We are challenging ourselves to symbolically ‘hug the continent of Africa’ by collectively covering the distance of 30 500km through any sporting activities to raise R45.000 (EUR 2.300) which will make a significant difference in assisting the Amathuba Foundation in providing young scholars with opportunities they wouldn’t otherwise get.
The Amathuba Foundation facilitates high school opportunities for disadvantaged learners at schools in South Africa. They help learners to reach their dreams, through customized funding and personal mentorship. They do this in partnership with their loyal patrons, the Amathuba Mentors, the partner schools, and the learners’ parents/guardians.
By taking part in Rhino Ride 2024 cycling through the bushveld of Manyoni Private Game Reserve we raise funds and awareness of African wildlife conservation programs.
Our goal is to provide opportunities for education and life-skills mentorship to young individuals in South Africa whose start in life has not been that fortunate.
Raising funds and awareness of African wildlife conservation programs. 2023 will see the Keyrus team cycling through the bushveld of Manyoni Private Game Reserve.
Raising funds towards the Zululand Conservation Trust and its conservation programs. In 2022 we focused on rhino conservation and pangolin reintroduction.
Amathuba means opportunity so we provide opportunities for education and mentorship to previously underprivileged African youth.
