Keyrus proudly brings you the summary of the most exciting innovations announced at the recent Snowflake Summit 26 in San Francisco.
One of the most practically significant announcements at Snowflake Summit 26 was CoWork - formerly Snowflake Intelligence - a personal AI agent built for knowledge workers rather than data teams.
The distinction matters. For years, the insight locked inside a Snowflake environment has been accessible primarily to those who can write SQL or navigate a BI tool. CoWork changes that. Business users can now interact with governed enterprise data through natural language, with the agent handling query construction, context assembly, and output delivery on their behalf. Snowflake confirmed at Summit that CoWork is now generally available and already in use at organisations including Synopsys, WHOOP, and Under Armour.
Beyond the chat interface, CoWork ships with Deep Research, Artifacts (governed interactive dashboards that refresh live from Snowflake data), User Memory, scheduled Automations, and integrations with Gmail, Slack, and Salesforce. The underlying accuracy layer - Cortex Sense - grounds every response in verified business context rather than general inference.
For organisations across our client base - retail, financial services, logistics - the practical implication is that the 90% of employees who will never open a BI tool now have a governed path to the insight they need.
The question for leaders is not whether to enable this. It is how quickly they can ensure the data foundation beneath it is accurate, governed, and ready.
