Background

Namibia Breweries is a leading beverage manufacturing company in Southern Africa and a long-term customer to Keyrus. Following the successful implementation of Tableau as its BI and analytics tool, Namibia Breweries identified the need for impactful training and continuous support of its business users as a crucial step to ensure effective analysis of its data. Namibia Breweries is committed to continuously building a data-driven culture necessary for greater insight, better decision-making, and improved competitive advantage.

Challenge

The customer is a forward-thinking business that recognises that users’ adoption of a new tool on their own is highly unlikely. It recognises the need for change management, continuous education, and a support system to ensure its BI community has a readily available channel for assistance and needed a partner to provide this support.

Approach

Namibia Breweries entered into a Support Agreement with Keyrus to ensure ongoing technical and user support for its BI community. This includes Tableau Technical Support with a modern ticketing system and a consultative training model which gives the brewery access to a team of BI experts at Keyrus, and to practical, reusable Tableau content.

Users also have access to a team of Keyrus BI experts through consultative Tableau training. They are available to answer and guide users through any BI questions. A major benefit is that knowledge sessions are structured, informative, and recorded for reuse. In addition, sessions focus on different skill set levels, important for the growth of the entire business. Finally, users now have access to reusable Tableau content, including best-practice visuals, which speeds up delivery.
