Digital banks are direct competitors of traditional banks trying to appeal to consumers seeking world-class banking products. As such they must create the best possible customer experience and offer world-class performance and security. GoTyme Bank, member of the Gokongwei Group, has selected Keyrus to design and implement advanced data visualisation and accurate reporting for effective future business decisions and secure competitive advantage.
Challenge
Existing data analytics and visualisation layer of Go Tyme data architecture was underutilising Tableau and needed to enhance company's data visualisation capabilities to sustain its competitive edge. A significant help was required to design, develop, and deploy the next generation of dashboards that would empower GoTyme to focus on aspects such as data governance, collaboration, scalability, and security.
Approach
Building on a robust expertise in Tableau data processing, analysis, and visualisation, Keyrus deployed seasoned consultants to aid in crafting new dashboards and configuring the server environment. Following series of brown bag sessions, along with hands-on demonstrations, to train users on the diverse features of Tableau our experts played a pivotal role in crafting various intricate visualisations. Keyrus has been working closely with GoTyme to drive innovation and build the foundation for solutions that empower long-term success. Recognising the importance of effective change and task management throughout the project, Keyrus recommended utilising Confluence as a collaboration and knowledge-sharing platform. As GoTyme’s change and task management and collaboration system, Confluence plays a critical role in documenting dashboard-related tasks. This, in turn, facilitates collaboration among BI team members, allowing them to record change requests, plan, organise, communicate, and monitor the dashboard development process.

Benefits
GoTyme Bank benefits from highly effective dashboards that ensure optimal performance, security and decision-making. The bank can now create its own multifaceted visualisations using Tableau, including radar charts. These are informative multi-dimensional graphs that illustrate the different metrics important to the bank. End-users are enabled to draw their own reports, asking questions of the data in layman’s terms, instead of having to wait for the BI team. GoTyme is now easily able to track its revenue as well as expenditure, and thus profitability. The bank can also automatically send visually appealing reports to investors, in PDF format. Confluence, the digital bank’s new change and task management system, documents all tasks aligned to the dashboards. This allows BI team members to collaborate and keep records of change requests. It also helps them to plan, organise, communicate and monitor the dashboard development process.
